I’ve been travelling through North Wales since I was a child. There’s an ‘working honesty’ running through the mountains, lakes, towns and people, and I wanted to show this in the worts n all approach to this little farm building. My practice is ‘anything goes so long as it’s driven by the heart and hand’. Painted in one session, it’s a result of channeling how I feel about the subject – truthfully without intellectual reasoning. A truth only realised through the act of painting
This piece is being exhibited in our Well Hung Painting Prize exhibition. We will dispatch all online orders after the exhibition closes on 22 August.
