“This painting reflects on the quiet traces of global movement embedded within the everyday.
The shopfront, filled with car parts from distant places, becomes a metaphor for migration
and exchange, where trade and travel intertwine. Though the scene may appear ordinary, it
speaks of unseen journeys, of objects and people that have travelled far to become part of a
new landscape. Parts from Elsewhere is a reflection on connection and displacement,
reminding us how the local is always shaped by the global, how even the smallest corner of
a city holds stories from elsewhere. My works reflect my ongoing interest in how shopfronts
mirror the shifting identities of the city.”

This painting is being exhibited in ‘The Painted City‘ Exhibition and will be ready for collection or delivery after the exhibition ends on 20th December 2025
