The Afternoon He Stayed by Jonathan Rockefeller
£2,800.00
Oil on Canvas
80 x 80cm
Jonathan Rockefeller is a visual artist whose work spans painting, sculpture and filmmaking. His practice is about evoking emotion through atmospheric works that blur the line between cinematic storytelling and mythology.
The room was quiet except for the sound of the sea. The plants needed water, the door was open, but there was little moving. He sat there long enough for the afternoon light to shift across the floor, watching the horizon and waiting for someone to arrive.
This piece is being exhibited in our Well Hung Painting Prize exhibition. We will dispatch all online orders after the exhibition closes on 22 August.
